After interviewing Cincinnati's local food production industry, I researched more profound into the power tools used in the kitchen. Benchmarking all similar products in the immersion blender category, I wanted to solve the problem by designing a new version of a Pansonic Hand Blender for in-home professional kitchen use.

This hand blender is designed for upskilled people’s home kitchens, which need more functions in one tool with lower power motors than the tools in business kitchens.
In Shop Observation
Through the on-site observation, I created a persona to target the project's design goals. With benchmarking immersion blenders on the market, Panasonic products, and Panasoinc branding. I targeted the direction of the products. Also, I did the task analysis to test the different requirements for the products.

After all the research, I started a couple ideation sketches and created many foam prototypes to test the form of the products. Also, I learned more about the other prototype making research: like CNC machine, 3D printing.
